恩将仇报

Something I heard in the local news really bothered me -

A Good Samaritan took in a homeless guy in San Francisco and offered him the garage to spend the night in. The next morning, the homeless guy broke in the host's young daughter's bedroom through windows, raped her and fled.

How despicable!

It's not a new 'low' in the behaviors of mankind, but this kind of 'lowliness' disgusts me indeed.

The Fable as told by Aesop

One winter a Farmer found a Snake stiff and frozen with cold. He had compassion upon it, and taking it up, placed it in his bosom. The Snake was quickly revived by the warmth, and, reverting to its Nature, bit its benefactor, inflicting on him a mortal wound.

"Oh," cried the Farmer with his last breath, "I am rightly served for helping a scoundrel."
